May 31, 2006Young balladeer/crooner ENRIQUE MARCOS came a long way from his humble beginnings as a wedding singer to a major recording artist under the independent label Candid Records Philippines.
With his dark good looks and swooning vocal style, ENRIQUE MARCOS has definitely proved ‘that when the mood call for romantic tunes, nothing beats the expressive singing that Enrique does so well’. With his debut album ENRIQUE MARCOS sub-titled ‘A Collection of Classic Love Songs’, exudes exemplary vocal power as he smoothly glides the lower keys to higher notes with ultimate ease.
His debut album includes twelve (12) diverse tracks from the immortal melody of Rodgers and Hart ‘My Funny Valentine’ to the Beatles hit ‘Something’. The album is also peppered with pop favorites from Debbie Boone’s ‘You Light Up My Life’ to Olivia Newton Johns ‘I Honestly Love You’

The boy from Malaybalay, Bukidnon dedicates his loving work to one of the most significant influence in his life – his grandfather. A self-confessed Lolo’s boy, ENRIQUE MARCOS reminisce its sweet memories. On gatherings or special occasions, his grandfather would often play the piano with Enrique gladly sing one of the centuries age-old immortal melodies from Sinatra to Tom Jones – his work has finally paid off.
